A DD drive system has been adopted for the wheel spindle, achieving reduced weight and a lower center of gravity for the wheelhead compared with a belt drive system. This has improved the capability to follow the wheelhead when it moves, enabling high-accuracy grinding.
Realization of process integration
Outer diameter grinding and shoulder grinding can be combined into one process.
