Bekasi, Indonesia – On November 08, 2025, PT JTEKT Indonesia Sales has successfully carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative focused on environmental sustainability through a mangrove planting program. This activity took place at Cilamaya, Karawang and aimed to support coastal ecosystem restoration and mitigate the impacts of climate change.
The mangrove planting program is part of PT JTEKT Indonesia Sales’ commitment to preserving nature and promoting biodiversity. Mangroves play a crucial role in protecting shorelines from erosion, providing habitats for marine life, and absorbing carbon emissions.
During the event, employees of PT JTEKT Indonesia Sales actively participated in planting 166 of mangrove seedlings. The company collaborated with PT. JTEKT Indonesia and local communities and environmental organizations to ensure the success and long-term maintenance of the mangrove area.
